not sure if i will be able to release it at all now. just got word that its to be kept on the downlow. WAY downlow

Um, I rooted and flashed to EE2 and then partitioned the SD card...but I still ahve 140MB free after installing several apps... :confused:
 
AWWWWW that's not fair at all :( It's not on the downlow anymore lol because now people are wondering I'm sure. I know that I'm really curious anyway.

sorry man. i got my ass chewed for saying as much as i did.
i wasnt aware in the beginning that t was being held so tightly underwraps and i feel like an ass for saying as much as i have


there will be another ROM coming out with a2sd enabled though. i have already emailed the dev a tested and working version of it. just wait for him to post. thats the only update i can offer to you for now
 
Ken and I worked on this last night - he was an amazing help. I had to reflash my recovery then everything was so smooth it was amazing. I have been trying for a week to get this to work.

I had 154 mb free after the install. I loaded 25 apps of various sizes - I still have 151 mb free (internal memory). Now thats tight!!!

I think I'm going to make the jump to EE when a2sd is added into the ROM. Looks like a cool ROM though after looking at it on XDA

Talk to frameworks over at xda about overclocking, that's a bit over my head, but I can tell you I'm doing a bit of work on another cool little function :)

Just got word that the Rom I enabled with a2sd last night will be getting a graphic overhaul and should be pushed out to you all later tonight

Finally got to a 3G area (outside of the office) to get some apps downloaded. They're still going to the phone when they install. I'm going to download the file that is in this thread, instead of the one that's on the XDA forum to see if that makes a difference.
 
You guys are seriously on point. I hope this "graphic overhaul" includes my transparent eclair lock with no clock :D

Will that be just a simple reflash with no loss of data or apps?
 
Once you flash to EE can you use AppBrain sync to reinstall your apps?
I know I rad that Titanium restore will cause problems. Just want to know for when I flash this later.

Follow up question: Should I remove everything from the SD card before going through the steps or is the copying just a backup in case something goes wrong?
 
When the of comes, I'm not sure how it will work. I had some issues using a different kernel last night, may be that its just an unstable kernel I for, but it may be that the whole thing needs to be reworked.

I recommend just installing apps normally the first time after flashing this Rom to make sure that everything is set in the right spot.

Partitioning the SD card will wipe everything, so the copy is important if you want to keep yourr info
