Good Grief, now I don't know what to believe with bluescreen. Dude, you are all over the place. Do you have some sociopathic need for grandiose sense of self indulgence, i don't know. I just don't get it anymore. Maybe you work with htc or you don't, but something just doesn't make sense and from learning's at a young age, if it doesn't feel right always trust your gut, right or wrong. My gut tells me there is something more to you than meets the eye. I don't want it to be that way, your responses or opening up a thread doesn't make you the real deal... I hope you can read that from other posts from other people that your writings just don't add up... Do the right thing.

Riddle me this? Now we are getting a little low!
(LTE+Wimax) Sprint is just going to come out with a program called LeapFrog and you don't think there are not going to include there most money making devices of all time? More over a hundreds of thousands of people, not over million are going to purchase EVO 3D and by the end of year there going to be obsolete? Really? I am only contracted by Sprint, even I know they would never happen.
Scuttle butt chat between colleagues on LTE+Wimax. Details of a casual conversation between to professionals on leap frog program. Information I was going to update on this thread when I something more then conversation.
Sure answer to you riddle me this.
Simple hardware and software up grade at the cell tower creating what is planned to be a hybrid LTE+Wimax signal transmitted from the cell tower. I guess Sprint could have called it “Piggyback program” but where is the marketability in that?
Second part OTA software up date to all of Sprints 4G devices allowing them to receive said new hybrid LTE+Wimax signal. This is so far out in the works, but you want to use it as the gospel. That is on you! It’s called around here “Experimental” for good reason.
Cheers,
BSOD(>-_0<)

[FONT=&quot]I won't go in justifying troll/this or that. I will admit over year ago, didn't have much of a interest in "Cellie" phones. I personally did not care for them because the technology was boring and did not offer anything woth getting pumped up over. If look back, I am right! PDA's were more common place then so called crap smartphones of 2009/10. Only thing of any intrest was a blackberry and that processor was a joke compared to developing quad/hex core Intel processors for a PC market. I posted about that over a year ago.
I was at Intel at that time Wimax technology was invented by Intel in 1998. I was on that development team. Fast forward to May 2010, Intel volunteered to assist with a consortium of companies including Google/HTC/Sprint to polish out issues with Wimax on various technical difficulted on Hotspot/3g/4g switching algorithms/Qik video chat/ and talk about that before EVO 4G was launched. I volunteered with that group to push 4g on time for launch. I did it, because there was a real technology worth being pumped up about. I was finally witnessing a technology come into. 12 years ago I worked on it and it was making show for prime time. That is something else you can read my post from year ago. I simply ask you to take a negative and make it positive. Then, if your fortunate enough to be part of a positive contributions. You will be able to say "I contributed something positive and change the world, forever."
Sent using Speech to Text on EVO 3D,

And where does your 5 tours as a Naval Pilot in Iraq and Afghanistan fit in to this timeline?

I agree with everyone here. This is spinning a bit out of control. I felt we were having fun with this but, unfortunately it is getting ugly now. Getting back to work.
Cheers guys and keep your chin up,
BSOD

The cellphone industry is very fast-paced so it's conceivable that things changed at the last minute. In any case, I'm here to talk and read about the phone, not BSOD.

I'm still excited about the EVO 3D. So it's not quite as amazing as we had thought, but it's still very nice. For someone not coming from the orig EVO, I'm very much looking forward to it.

Really you guys want to call that into question as well? It's called active service from 1990 to 1997. Reserves 1997 to present.
Cheers,
BSOD(.-_-.)

Someone correct me if I am wrong (I am not from the United States and I was only born in 1990) but since when did US Naval Pilots do tours of service in Afghanistan in the 1990s? I understand that the CIA offered training for the Taliban and equipment was supplied as support during the Afghan civil war but when did America have direct military involvement in Afghanistan?

I don't know about afganastan but operation desert storm started in 1990. That did involve Iraq.

I may be new the to the board but my opinion on this is treat the information that BSOD thows out like candy. Some may come true some may not. If he is involved I'm sure he doesn't have final say on what happens (it's pretty clear he's not CEO of Sprint or HTC) and as a result things will change.

I tend to equate what he's throwing out like trade rumors for any pro league sports teams. Don't get super excited about what's thrown out there and if it comes true that's great.

I really don't get the personal attacks on the guy.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey first post on here and I came here because of the EVO 3D...It is sad that this has to be my first post.

I take this personally, I think you either are a military pilot, or any one of the other things (VP...and the like) but not all wrapped into one....or, you are none of the above.

You being in the reserves...and a "pilot" doing 5 "tours" and maintaining all the other positions? I am raising the BS flag on that. Not many people understand how much that involves. I am out now do to an accident over in Afghanistan and the company I work for now one of our leads is a pilot in the reserves...and lets say because of his position (and he is well below a VP of a company) he does not have the time to deploy... he might have to go this year and if he does he will have to be replaced because of the pace of the program (of course he would get the job back when he returnes...but you just simply can not juggle them both) I did 4.5 full deployments between 2002-2008 in the region and let me say...there is zero time for anything else.

What squadrons did you fly with and what aircraft? I might actually know you if you were there... The Mil. flying gig is a small small world.

Probably the best post in here. Take things on the internet with a couple of grains of salt. EarlyMon has proven himself to me and therefore if he will back BSOD I will. I'm not taking everything BSOD says as the word of God for the EVO 3D. We have months to go before this thing launches. There is bound to be a ton more speculation and rumor as launch day nears.

As for the person who commented on his grammar capabilities, I know executive officers making 200k+ a year who do not know the difference between they're, their, or there. Grammar doesn't indicate anything.

This whole thread is just turning into flaming.

In before lock.

BS, let me get this straight... The Evo 3D with have a more battery friendly version of Android (Gingerbread), along with a more battery friendly CPU and they felt the need to increase the battery size by 15% at the cost of the kickstand which the Evo was famous for? That's just plain stupid! (The idea, not you.)

Secondly, (with all due respect to you) as someone who works as an enterprise performance tester, if you've spent the last several months testing a device & at the last second they switch up major aspects of that device, then the company you work for must be run by chimps. That makes absolutely no sense. You're telling me that the HTC Evo 3D was introduced to the world with some major changes with absolutely no QC? Call me naive, but I just can't see either HTC or Sprint introducing a phone to the media with no QC.

We can agree and agree to disagree without it getting all personal, okey dokey?

It will all come out in the wash.

can you check his IP and see if he's telling the truth about posting from/near CTIA.

If his IP address shows another state we can be pretty sure he's trolling.

I don't know about afganastan but operation desert storm started in 1990. That did involve Iraq.

I know about Operation Desert Storm, hence why I didn't dispute Iraq. It sounds like he claimed Iraq & Afghanistan then threw out the early 90's because of Desert Storm without realising Afghanistan was not a part of that.

To everyone else saying that we should back off on disputing his credibility and just discuss the tidbits of information he is providing, I do not understand why not. Firstly, this is a thread entirely dedicated to his predictions and his refutations for his errors. This is not a general Evo discussion. For us to be discussing his predictions with such conviction, we have to at least know there is at least a shred of truth to them. Otherwise, this is a completely pointless thread and we might as well just go back to discussing what we wished was on the Evo 3D.

Having said that, there is a great amount of gaps, contradictions and information that just straight up doesn't make sense. Triple doctorate, Naval pilot and numerous high end corporate positions is something that really rings an alarm bell inside my head. Additionally, to the person saying they know corporate leaders that can't spell, I agree. My father is a CEO and he is not very bright himself. My emphasis was more on the triple doctorate and I probably should have omitted the VP part. If you can get a triple doctorate without understanding the difference between new and knew or here and hear, then I'd be very weary of your educational system.

Having said that, the continuous support for this charade is not a good thing at all. The fact that a moderator supports him and vouches for him makes people take him too seriously and, if you will look at a series of posts in this thread, people believe that they are actually engaging in a dialogue with someone from HTC. I don't know since when this was considered acceptable on a forum, nor do I understand why people keep insisting that we might as well entertain this idiocy when all the signs point to him being a troll, just for the slim chance that he may really be who he claims.

One thing I will agree on though is that this thread should be closed and a ban should be dealt, or at least remove him from this moronic pedestal people are placing him on.

So are we going to actually have a general Evo 3D thread??

Just saying, since this one is more about crediting/decrediting BS. Personally I would take any information with a grain of salt.....until there is "sourced" proof of what the 3D has.

Early April Fools joke guys.

No company would greenlight the information dump BS gave us only for it to be false thus taking steam out of the announcement. All information leaked would have to be approved by Sprint, you can bet your ass this would be the contractual agreement between Sprint and HTC. Androidforums credibility has taken a hit by allowing BS to continue to post his lies as if they were facts.

Here's my take. Whether BlueScreen is legit or not isn't the main point. Would his info be anymore credible/not credible, if he just shared the info with a reputable blog and they reported the info?

I take ANYTHING I read on the internet with a grain of salt, but never turn a blind eye to anything. So unlike many who seem to be very upset about the information, I don't mind it at all...even if that means the information doesn't turn out to be true.

All that said, if there is an option for a battery cover with a kickstand, I would likely reconsider upgrading, so I hope that is actually true. If it involves having to add a case to the phone, I'm holding off.

lol, i stand corrected! It was Scotch! I think this thread has gone in the wrong direction from the wrong person who created it. can someone generate a fresdh evo 3d thread without the hyperbole created by bluescreen???

I completely agree! I'm not making any life decisions based on what I'm reading in an online forum. Whether he's an inside source or not doesn't matter to me. He's provided details about things that I've never heard before & have never even thought of before. Whether the info is true or not doesn't matter to me because at least it's got me thinking about new technologies & strategies.

There should be a disclaimer somewhere stating that due to privacy reasons BS doesn't want to reveal his sources, or his place of employment & anyone who wants to follow along can & should, with the understanding that he's not the ultimate decision maker on these things. $0.02
