Root evo 4g and ps3 sixaxis controller app

any1 got this app to work on the evo 4g if so what rom are u running.I was on Mikg 3.11 then switched to cm 7.1 both were a no go and I REALLY wanna play maximum carnage on my phone lol so any help would be GREATLY appreciated

looks like this is a no go as you say. from their website:

Important - Due to the non-standard protocol that the controllers use to communicate with the host, this application requires root access. Additionally, it is incompatible with most HTC devices and some newer Samsung devices. This is due to the required bluetooth protocol not being implemented on these devices. We are actively looking into a work around, but currently the only solution is to install a custom firmware, such as Cyanogenmod, that supports the required protocols.

if cm7 does not work then i'm not sure what will work.

Yea I saw someone in the market comments saying they had it running on the old evo but they didnt say what they did to their phone but screw it im gonna try til I get it
