Help EVO 4G software update

My brother's got a shift, and his last software update was to Gingerbread (2.3.3 for us).
And given the evo's age, along with the fact that we just received an update, I'd say we've probably got one or two left, and I'd bet they will be more like bug fixes and *maybe* htc opening up hboot.

And, if you have rooted your phone, the evo 3d camera app has been ported over to the evo 4g. Just something to think about.

Root's not available for 2.3.3 but when it is available, android forums will have all the info.
You can get all the sense 3.0 goodies when you get root. (it's not as smooth as the 3D but it works) The camera is nice.

Can you tell me what was the last version that was rootable, 2.3 ?
the last version was software 3.70 on froyo 2.2
