Help Evo battery life (continuous video recording)?

Was going to zoo today and was going to use my phone to record but was wondering if anybody has ran tests how long the battery will last just video recording constantly? I dont want to record an hour and then be sol

No, its a phone first and if I was taking a camcorder to the zoo I would take a spare battery. The EVO is made for short recordings, not recording for extended periods of time in my opinion. The video quality/sound isn't anything to rave about either. Take a spare battery with you.

well, ive taken it to concerts and recorded on and off over an hour and it took about 1/3 of my batt.... so it is a significant drainer

edit: ive noticed SIGNIFICANTLY improved batt life with the new lernel im running today.... 2.6.35.10-SavageKernel-V1.6-BFS-HAVS #3
give it a shot, but make a nandroid b/u first lol
