Help EVO Design 4G - Call Quality

I don't own this phone, my boss does. On voice calls the people on the other end can't seem to hear him very well.

Anybody else have, seen or heard of this as a standard problem? He's wondering if he should return this specific phone and try another Evo Design or switch to a different phone altogether. I have the SG2 and I think that's probably too much phone for him. I personally don't know much about the Evo Design so I thought I'd ask here for him.

Its hard to say if its his phone or his signal. has an update been done on the phone? And is this problem with him where ever he goes? It could have a bad radio an exchange just might solve his issue. However if his problem is mainly at the office then an airave would be the way to go.
