Help EVO keeps going thru reboot cycle

Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't been able to use the phone last 12 hours because it just keeps going thru the reboot cycle. I haven't downloaded any new app that would cause this to happen.

I did transfer 3 files(audio book from audible.com) from my computer in afternoon. I wonder if that has something to do with it. But phone was working fine for few hours after that. Then, all of the sudden, it started rebooting and now, it doesn't even finish complete start up and goes back to rebooting again.

I guess I need to visit the sprint store?

if you are unable to shut it down then do a battery pull leave it out for about ten minutes then put it back it and try to boot then.

I did have the battery out overnight and that didn't help. Went to Sprint store and was told that my phone got corrupted from virus in email or text message and will need to get reinstalled. I don't think I ever opened any links or attachment from my email. So, not sure what caused it. But they did the reinstall(reset the phone) and it is working fine now. Of course, I lost all my apps and everything, need to reinstall them all, but at least the phone is working now.
