Root Evo not connecting to computer

I'm having trouble connecting my phone to my macbook.

I just cleared my Delvik cache for the first time. Phone is rooted.

I plug in my phone using the cable provided, I get the notification that USB debugging is enabled, and the charging light turns on, but that's it, it doesn't mount and the notification to ask what type I'd like it to be doesn't appear, even though I have it set to ask me every time. Please help!

do you have htc synch installed? try installing it and see if that helps. sometimes the phone needs the drivers installed on the pc. im not too familiar with apple so i dont know if it needs something like that or not. what rom are you on?

Nevermind! For some reason when I just updated to 2.3 rooted it worked itself out!

Glad it's working. And I don't think macs need anything extra, seems like only windows needed driver files or anything like that (from what I remember about rooting - time to check the dummies page again)
