Help Evo not showing up in "My Computer"

Well, it shows up but the drive is empty (insert disc). This was working perfectly fine until today for some reason. Now everytime I plug my Evo into my PC, nothing happens.

I've set the default action to "Disk Drive" and then I've gone and changed it a few times to see if anything worked, I even set it to ask me each time I plug it in. I'm getting no notifications besides the debugging thing.

I wiped the phone and it started working fine again. I restored my phone and again, it stopped working.

Any ideas? I've tried all the USB settings...
 
First off, have you restarted the phone? That usually helps.

If you are getting the debugging notification, then yo uhave usb debugging on, and the phone wont give you the disk drive mode.

it would be worth him trying to turn it off and see but mine works just fine with usb debug on.

I've had this happen before and one of a few things fixed it...
restart computer
reboot phone
enable disk drive again
try a different usb cable
try a different usb port
 
I had the same problem before, I think it's because I ended some program from the Running Services. I just turn off my phone and turn it on again, then solve my problem.
 
another user was having this issue today and removed the battery, put it back in and everything worked.

have you tried a different computer to see if it works there?
