Root Evo Port Test ROMs | Droid Incredible

http://adrynalyne.us/files/patches/vanilla_script.zip

Warning: Has not been tested, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Nandroid first, install this via clockwork, then you can run your vanilla script.

It should also set permissions properly.

E:Syntax error in update script

Installation Aborted

Blah blah blah.

Trying again.

Happened twice. Is it Kernel specific. Like if I have Hydra will it not work or is that irrelevant?

Do we still need the stagefright.zip for B5?

EDIT:

Answered my own ??? and its is YES!

Thanks Adrynalyne for your hard work!!

It does have the 2.6.32 kernel, if you want the 2.15 radio, you will need to flash that separately.

im getting ready to start this, im going to skip on the radio for now, um, yea, wish me luck.. looking up better instructions for rom manager.

Just ADB'ed for the first time. Finally got my Ubuntu computer running it properly. Oddly you set up 10.04 like it was a 9.10 set up. I tried with 99-Android.rules and it didn't work. I noticed all the other folders were 70-Android.rules so I changed it and bingo. Though I have to type ./adb command.

Just pushed fonts and it worked. Anyway, the scripts to whittle down to vanilla seem to have an issue in the install script apparently.

Edit Question.
If I just unzip this folder and put the files that you include in here in the proper folder can I just run these one at a time in ADB? I don't see how the overall UI changes though. Like removing the Sense desktop or do you not do that? If I do these but leave some of the files I like, like people widget and flashlight and stuff will it still work or do they depend on Sense core stuff? There are replacements but these are just a little smoother. Anyway at least I see how I can adjust for myself should I desire to.

Finished my Titanium restore, now im getting

The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly, please try again.

Finished my nandroid restore and its up and working, im off to bed now,(graveyard shift) ill post later on the rom

Make sure you arent installing the CM one.

Idouble and triple checked to make sure I got the sense version. I have also tried a couple other evo themes that other people are using and they all boot to the eye for about 5 minutes and then start a 10 second bootloop. I must be missing something here....
