Root EVO Root

My EVO was rooted. I had a friend Root it for me.
I cracked the screen on my EVO and I was going to take it back.
I haven't yet and I don't think I will for a while. Could I get some help in Rooting it again? Maybe using TeamViewer.

Thanks.

if you are going to root yourself, please read the rooting for dummies guide. it is the best resource out there for showing you exactly what needs to be done in order for you to root your phone. i'm not exactly sure if that answer your question or not.

power on holding the vol. down button with the power button. It will load a white screen with the android logo skateboarding or something. There it will say your hBoot and if you have S-On or S-off.

It will start to try to load a file PC136.zip (or something I forget the exact title), this is fine, it will say the file is not found (unless you have it installed on the root of the SD card). Then just reboot your phone from this menu after writing down your info.

XDA has a list of the hboot versions for the evo right here.

I haven't actually downloaded this file yet, but it says it's a zip of all the hboot versions.

If you are just trying to reroot, follow the guide. Unrevoked should work fine on that Hboot. Do you have s-off already? If not, you still are rooted.
