2.3 has never let me down so I never saw a need to change. It just plain works for me.

I use 3.11 for the captiva or what ever buttons on the phone. Saves the power button. I do double check everything before I backup or restore a nand though just to make sure I have all my i's dotted and t's crossed

I only had the one issue with 3.11 and that was restoring from a compressed nandroid. Now I have a 32gig class 10 card so compressing isn't a need or concern
