Evo V 4G live on Virgin Mobile USA site....

Yep, just cancelled my RadioShack order and did VM direct instead. It's a grey area ordering from RS IMO because VM says other stores won't have it till the 10th..safest going from the source. However I checked the order status with VM and it says Backordered..however, estimated ship date tomorrow. Cool! =D
 
My order # isn't even registering yet. So I have no order status as of yet. I ordered through RS aso but couldn't cancel order so I have two coming. Lol
 
I just bought mine from Virgin's site as well came to $334.67, probably costs me $20 more than Radio Shack but with 1-2 day shipping I should get it sooner especially if Radioshack ends up having to wait until the 10th.
 
I'm not even trying to rush to get mine anymore. I'm hearing that the orders on the VM website are just back-ordered. That basically means they won't ship out until they are available.

If they said they'll ship on the 1st, You'll get it 1-2 days later. Which usually means it'll be there the next day or the day after. Not the same day. So latest date you'd receive if they shipped on the 1st would be the 3rd. =] Wait. They don't do deliveries on Sunday.

Yeah, Virgin claims that they will ship tomorrow. The website says we'll get it in 3-5 days at checkout.
 
ordered mine from RS and my order status says "
Item(s) located in stock" i ordered mine around 9am Pacific time with overnight shipping,so i should see mine sat.i didnt catch the shipping time ,says have to be ordered before 11AM east coast time to get next day... oh well as long as i dont see "back ordered" in the order status... im good to go.
 
LOL your all wasting your time trying to rush to preorder it to get it faster from VM anyway nobody will get it till at least the 5th-10th pre-order or not no matter what store.

If anyone bothered to do a search they would have found that the shipments of the htc evo V and htc evo design are being held by US customs and isn't allowing them in the states yet lol. In the article i read it said at the earliest you may get ahold of 1 sometime next week.

That customs hold up is for the HTC Evo 4g LTE not the HTC Evo V 4g they are completely DIFFERENT handsets
 
Whether or not it's worth anything or credible, the live chat window popped up on VM's site and I asked if the Evo V was in stock and the response was that it's temporary out of stock even though the page still says "add to cart" on it.

Like I said though, who knows if that's verified.

I don't think nobody actually knows if this is in stock yet or not. It seems a lot are shipping tonight or tomorrow. God only knows when these will actually hit stores or if retailers are being forced to wait for 6/10 release date that was on the site. Guess only time will tell...

A VM Rep told me this afternoon if I ordered my phone (at that time) I'd get it in 3-5 business days. Meaning Tuesday at the latest... I think we need to cool down and just grab a beer and wait.

Yeah it won't be until around the 10th for the stores... I'm planning on getting it the 20th... When you get it let me know how it is signal wise here (even though we got good coverage for wiimax)...
 
I ordered mine from Virgin yesterday and paid for the 1-2 day shipping. Yesterday it said the ship date was today 6/1 now when I check the order it says expected ship date of 6/2/12. Sad that the carrier can't even ship it on the day they say.
 
Ordered mine about 3 hours ago off the virgin site, at first it said ship tomorrow but now its saying Monday.

EDIT: canceled my order on VM, found one at a local RS store.
 
I'm hoping that VM is getting a shipment in over the weekend. I've emailed them and chatted with the advisor and both have said that the phone is on back order even though they're still taking website orders. If they did that, I can only assume that they're getting a shipment in soon and are going to fill the orders that way.

Either way, no phones will ship until Monday.
 
And now mine is Estimated Ship Date - 6/4/2012.

On the VM facebook page they were saying the phones will ship between 6/1 and 6/4. I've watched my ship date go from 6/1 to 6/2 and now it's at 6/4. So see you all sometime next month?
 
I think I might cancel that VM order and go with radioshack. Just got an email about my cancelled order and is offering free 2nd day shipping. Not sure yet.

I just called them and they said that they are out of stock right now and it will take around 5 days to restock. Might want to cancel it and look for other places to get it if you need the phone already.
