EVO vs. Warp

So as of right now, I have a ZTE Warp but I've been considering upgrading to the EVO (boost mobile). I non-rooted Warp and don't plan on rooting the EVO. My first Warp I tried to root and bricked it, don't want to do that with a $300 phone.
What seems to be the reviews on the EVO? Anybody switch from the Warp? How do you like the EVO compared to the Warp? Is it worth it to get the EVO? Thanks!

I had the Warp for a couple weeks, then found out this was coming out (yeah I know should of researched first). Got to love Best Buy's 30 day return policy though :) Anyway, I like this phone way better! If you can get the 4G coverage where you are it is super fast! If not it is still a better phone in my opinion. It does have less storage for apps than the Warp but it's still enough. Especially if you root and remove unwanted apps. Hope this helped.

Way better. I did like the warps bigger screen, but the HTC looks so much better. As far as speeds they are equal. The HTC has yet to cause me any issues. very solid feeling. Trust me just holding the HTC you feel the quality difference

I had the Warp for 5 months I like the bigger screen and did not have any real problems with the phone. That said I relay love the EVO better build quality over all and the screen is nicer (I do miss the bigger screen) and the speed on the EVO make it a better over all experience for me (not that the Warp was slow this is just way faster handset).

I am over all very happy with the phone,Now the service is an other thing I am getting a lot of "network is busy" here in Brooklyn (NY).

Maybe try switching your PRL? Apache Thunder has a post on that here in this forum, maybe it would help.

After dropping the phone at least 3 times, I can tell you this thing is a tank. The last time I dropped it was when I tried to put it in my shirt pocket which is at least 5 feet off the ground. I missed the pocket and the phone fell to the floor with the battery cover facing down. (the phone remained parallel to me as it fell). When it hit the hard concrete floor, the battery door came off and the battery fell out.

BUT, after putting the battery back in, and the battery cover back in place, the phone turned on and acted like nothing happened.

So yeah...this thing is a beast. :D

Now granted it may still break if it lands screen first on top of a rock or something, but it seems to hold up well if it falls on a flat surface with no nearby debris or otherwise protruding objects that could hit the screen.
