EVP Delivery Dates

I received confirmation of shipping as well, but no tracking number yet. Lisa said they have no way of specifying Saturday delivery, however. According to my regular UPS guy, that means no delivery on Saturday.

Oh well, no use getting worked up about it. :)
 
Is there anyone else out there who ordered through EVP but hasn't gotten any confirmation about shipping yet? I don't mind waiting until Monday, but if people have already gotten their shipment confirmations, I'm starting to wonder if my order got lost.

I just spoke with EVP to see if I could go to the Sprint store and just have a phone put on my EVP account. Unfortunately, I was asking too late. My order had already been confirmed and processed for shipping. Tracking numbers will be sent out later today. They have "many" groups of 100s of orders they are trying to process first to get them out the door, then sending mass confirmation emails out later today. Wish they would send confirmations as they process them.

Oh well. I can wait till Monday. :(

No, it's actually cheaper than evp since the 174.99 was for new customers then you have to still add shipping and tax so I actually came out ahead, I got my phone on time, no mail in rebate and no shipping. The $214.48 is $199.99 + 7.25% sales tax. No other charges :eek:
 
I talked to Brian, they have been slammed. He said they processed everything this morning, but I never received the confirmation letter. He said he would email it to me, and this was like an hour ago. Still nothing.... Very annoying...He also said he highly doubted about a Saturday delivery with his experience with Sprint......
 
I have nothing as well. Zip. Zero. Nada. EVP never again. Oh they're busy? I am playing the worlds smallest violin for them.
 
sprint does not ship overnight sat delivery... Its not going to happen unless they screw up and do it by accident. Shipping today overnight will have them delivered on Mon.

Just called EVP, all preorders have been shipped.....if you didn't receive confirmation...don't worry they are sending confirmations out now but every preorder has been shipped....
 
I just received my confirmation too. They said on the phone that tracking number will follow but would take several hours.

Confirmation received. No tracking info yet. Guess thats the next milestone.

Picked up Body Glove case at Sprint store. Sprint rep said its been a constant flow for EVOs all day. I was there about 30 min and saw 6 ppl pick them up.

Now just waiting for Monday.
 
Bad news kids, spoke to Sprint. Ordering through EVP will still have the "2-5 day" processing time (although the Sprint rep says 5 days never happens). Also he said they do not deliever on the weekends. So Monday is looking risky now.

I don't know about that. I have a UPS tracking number now and I'll be checking this evening to (hopefully) see it change to "Picked up/In transit" status.

Mine is "being processed" according to Sprint's tracking system. I'm going to be watching it tonight to see if it updates and gives me a tracking #.

keep this in mind...just because there are no deliveries on Saturday or Sunday, UPS works on the weekends. I would assume the phones should be on the trucks and out for delivery by Monday morning.
 
lol so get this... I can now track my EVO on the UPS website. It says that it was picked up at 5:15 P.M. in Louisville, KY.

But get this... the "Service" type says GROUND. I paid for overnight, but Sprint doesn't ship overnight with Saturday delivery.

But GROUND service gets delivered on Saturday and according to ups.com/maps, I am in the "1 day" delivery area from Louisville, KY. (I'm in Chicago.)

So does this mean I'll get my EVO tomorrow?! Did EVP do this on purpose because they knew better?

Its possible EVP can redeem themselves to me if I get that sucker tomorrow. :D

EDIT: I may be confusing UPS Ground with FedEx Home Delivery, which DOES deliver on Saturdays.

Agh this is all making my brain hurt. I think I'm just gonna go get drunk & forget about all this EVO business.
 
Just received my tracking number and confirmation for my shipment, I got overnight shipping and they ship on saturdays in my area....:D:D
 
So glad I canceled EVP, and got a confirmation e-mail from them around 9am. I was first in line at the Sprint store this morning, and was out by 8:30. One of my friends was making fun of me yesterday because he had pre-ordered from BB and had a 10am appointment and it was looking like Monday for me... well it's 6pm and he still doesn't have his yet. Sprint's system is soooo busy, BB called him and said they couldn't activate anything yet so he'd have to wait. I tried not to make tooooo much fun of him ;)

this whole find an evo thing has been a whole bunch of fail for me.....so i canceled the evp order, only to reorder one on sprint's website....knowing my luck, the sprint store will call tomorrow and be like...that 2nd shipment came in today...you can come pick yours up. smh.
 
I wonder how long you have to cancel your order if its still in the "being processed" phase?? Also if I chose to go buy one in the store tomorrow, what do I do with the one in the mail, just return it unopened??
 
Finally got a UPS tracking number. It says "Billing Information Received", so it doesn't seem likely that it will show up tomorrow, but I'm going to keep checking until it shows a scheduled delivery date. The method is "Next Day Air Saver" but I doubt that means I'll get it tomorrow.....but I'll be looking for it just in case. :)
