From what I am beginning to understand, EVP is just a 3rd party authorized dealer for Sprint. When we pre-ordered our evo's, a week or two ago, there wasn't some sort of stash of evo's we were reserving a phone from, but instead, our names were put on a list, and then Friday morning, the EVP team, placed Sprint web orders on our behalf?
I ask this because people that placed their orders Thursday night from the official Sprint website, had theirs ship, yet mine placed via an EVP rep 2 weeks ago was only entered into Sprints system Friday and did not ship. So although I pre-ordered, people who didn't took priority. Probably because they entered their order into the Sprint system before my EVP rep did.
If this is all true, I don't blame Sprint, but I have learned a lesson. EVP probably is great, but just don't use them for fast selling phones you want in a hurry. Use them when you would have been fine using Sprints website, but wanted that extra 25.00 dollars off.

I have names and emails ) "The phone would be shipped the day sprint entered it in their inventory system."
