Help Exchange client on Evo V?

I'm expecting my Evo to arrive on Friday. I started looking through the How To guide and it looks like there's no email client for MS Exchange? Is that correct?

We use Exchange at work and I have to be able to check my email from my phone. Can anyone recommend a good (preferably free!) client I can download?

Thanks! I really love this place!

That's incorrect. The stock email client supports exchange and on top of that, there has to be email apps in the play store that do as well. I have the Sprint 3d but a co-worker has the VM evo v so I just checked to be sure before replying. When you go to set up an email account, exchange is the first option listed! :)

This is correct. The stock email app does support exchange.:)

Yep, I am currently using exchange on my Evo V. In fact, I could not get any third party apps to work with our exchange server - it's configured so that it requires the exchange device administrator to be installed on the phone before you can sync emails (this requires you have a password and also restricts the screen lock time).

Thank you for the responses! The How To guide only shows how to set up POP/IMAP, so I figured the phone didn't support Exchange. Later, I looked through the actual owner's manual and it does have instructions for setting up an Exchange account.

Yeah, the stock client is perfect for Exchange. I used it all the time at my previous job.

Just make sure you get all the correct settings. I had a few issues, because no one told me that the one server needed to have a \ at the start...
