I've got a 45/09. My screen doesn't click, but my DROID "rocks" when I put it on a table or desk.
Having the same issue: The left edge (portrait orientation) of my upper slider rides slightly above the lower base and pressing the left side of my screen causes a clicking noise as the two surfaces make contact. Three units in the local Verizon show room were similar. The noise is noticeable enough that use in a quiet library setting (where I spend a lot of time) is a little awkward. The sliding mechanism itself is not too lose or too tight, but the misalignment makes it too noisy.
Do you think the local store will replace if I am persistent or should I try calling 611?
My 30 day return period ends in three days but this should be covered even after this period, right.
Other than that the phone has been great.
Thanks
