Exiting messaging

is it just me or does pressing the back key from messaging just take u to home screen but to close the actual program u gotta use task manager?

android works like that. it doesnt exit any application as soon as u hit the back button (not just messaging).. after a while, when android decides the messaging app is inactive, it automatically closes it. do not manually kill it via task manager.. android will usually restart the app, and then close it automatically.. this causes battery drain :)

I haven't installed a task skiller. I just exit program using task manager. So things like internet and messaging which dont close I should just leave running in bg if im not using it?

well killing a task via task manager is pretty much wat the task killer does automatically :D so yeah, hit back once ur done with an app.. it'll close automatically shortly.
