That's good to know that you can get back using RSD, i have seen conflicting reports about this, would the actual file used be VRZ_XT875_5.9.902.XT875.Verizon.en.US_CFC_01.xml ?

You posted two images for 6.7.2233.

Could you post 6.7.2231 at Systen version? This then includes System version through Build number.

Also, I read that when installing the ICS leak you lose all the data on your internal memory, but I didn't.
 
Nope - because 1) I never installed 2231, and 2) it would require me to now FXZ to .902 --> apply .905 update --> install the 2231 update *after* finding it for download somewhere. And it's already after midnight here and I have to be up in 5 hours for work :P

2233 is the most recent leak, *AND* it has a lot more of that original bloat that came with the BIONIC as stock .886, so I'm sticking with it, until something newer comes down the pipeline.
 
John ... absolutely not needed ... I am updating the Reference listing ... the bottom was cut off the 6.7.2231 that was posted everywhere. It will show up eventually and I will add it. Get some sleep.

I don't think john will be sleeping tonight lol. This ICS leak is too awesome. :)

Everything is really smooth. No glitches found yet except for the webtop issue but that's easily fixed. Tomorrow I'll be testing smart actions and the data connection since I've been home on wifi.

I'm so happy right now. :D
 
Does anyone have a good link to the pathsaver incase we need to get back to 905? I can't find a good link since mega is shut down.

So for those of us who aren't comfortabe installing this incremental leaks, what in your educated opinions is about the time we can expect this to be finally released OTA? Not looking for a firm date, just your best educated guess.

My best guess, earliest would be in two weeks. They just released the Razr and Maxx ICS updates today so two weeks would coincide with Moto's promise of an early 3rd quarter release for the Bionic and D4.

The latest Bionic ICS leak is pretty darn close to a perfect official release so a 7/6/2012 release date would not be out of the question. The latest date would be probably end of July.
 
Just when you get your phone set up like you want it something new comes along. As I'm going to have to RSD back to stock unrooted .905 anyway I might as well go for 2233 tomorrow.
 
for those interested on keeping previously installed apps/data and getting verification errors during ICS update install...

wipe cache
fastboot boot, system, webtop, preinstall, recovery (all 902)
reboot and get 905 ota (ick 4g service)
reboot recovery and flash ICS

want root on ics?
use razrs edge

Should be good to go, I was. On ICS 2233 and loving 4g on it!
