Explain your username!

ummmm well mine is pretty self explanatory. But actually I have a 69 Ford Ranchero former show car and my first car. Someone at a car show said thats one "Fine69" and it stuck although the cars name is SHE DMN due to the blood like paint color.
 
My name intrdrgn, in 1980 i went to the movies for the very first time. on the big screen seen the movie Enter the Dragon by Bruce Lee. i was only 13 @ the time. got hooked instantly, the movie made a huge impact on me since 1980. as i got older, i wanted to make a name for me so i made some changes to look like a name & pay homage to the first movie i saw.

Prince Corwin is a character from my favorite novel series I read when I was a kid. Anyone recognize it?

Mine is just what I've been called since school and sadly even at the age of 32 I still get it now, my second name is Wilkinson so someone shortened it to Wilky, then Wilka.. I ordered a pair of personalised Nike football boots and they added the S on to the end :D
 
Got my user name at summer camp in 1961. Had to wait for Al Gore to invent the internet before I had any use for it.
 
When i first got a PS3 and i wanted to play online i need to make an account on PSN and my older brother was making it for me but he was in a hurry going to YMCA so i just made up something reall quick using my name. Yes my name is in my username, and ive used that username ever since. I think i was 11 turning 12 soon so thats why its a 12 at the end.
 
I've been using this name for the past 16 yrs....back when AOL had chatrooms. I was the "scandal"ous one and my favorite car was Lexus.
 
Had I been able to use my full net name, general eclectic, I would've, but there are not enough characters available. I chose it years ago as my interests are both general and eclectic, I also like the play on the well known brand name...

Glad you explained. I thought for sure it was in reference to you being some unlucky soul's scandalous ex. :D

Well I guess I'm partially right.
 
A hadron is any particle composed of quarks (or quarks plus antiquarks). In "everyday" terms that includes the protons and neutrons which make up the nucleus of an atom. So if you judge it by mass, we're all mostly made of hadrons.

I picked it because I needed to think of something as my username, didn't want to use my real name, and it was the first thing that came to mind which I thought I might actually still remember the next time I came back - I had no idea back then how much time I'd spend here ;).

I had to look up the word eclectic because I have a low IQ but I found a out a new word! :)

My name however... is very unique and no 1 in all the 79 parallel universes has come up with it before.

And my username was inspired by this very nice looking creature here:

So because of this photo... it was there and then... I decided to become "The Chosen 1 and a Half"...

I was really considering that loser / user name too by the way!

I just wasn't at the time 500% sure how to make the numerical value of 1.5 show in characters on the interwebs.

This was the first name I came up with for an Internet username, way back when! "Ricky" from I love Lucy show, Ricky Ricardo always use to sing a song called "Babalu" so I put them together. :D

Nice to see that name; brings up great memories.

He and his band performed it on I Love Lucy a time or two.. and it was beautiful, even doing his little dance, with the big conga drum strapped on.

But the time he was on Saturday Night Live, quite grey and quite old, many years ago, he gave it a serious try (with the Saturday Night Live Orchestra and a miniature conga) and went way off key and sounded nervous.. he eventually laughed at himself and had fun with it. Great moment.
 
Well, the numbers symbolise 11/09 or November 2009. Then, I got the name 'Spikey' since I had Spiky hair that stuck 4-5 inches into the air. When you combine both factors you get Spikey1109.

I actually had the pleasure of meeting him some 30 yrs ago. I was a waiter and he sat at one of my tables. At the time he was really old and frail, soon after he passed away. But it was a treat to meet him since I was a huge "I love Lucy" fan; I have seen every episode multiple times when I was growing up.
