Explain your username!

every since 2007 i hate nokia

Why? I was happy with mine until I decided I needed something I could tether a couple of years ago, they made calls, sent and received text and pics, was even able to browse the interwebs, albeit in a primitive fashion. Mind you, I wouldn't want to go back to one now...

My user name is one of my most popular nicknames amongst friends. Combination of my first and last name: Jonathan Martinez.

Here's a shit hot band called Gang of Brothers. All but the drummer and percussionist are brothers, named Martinez! (Another of my videos, I shot this one last year...)

Okay wait!

I have got it now! :)

I FINALLY remember how I came to my user name!

I one day out of the blue decided to become a gazillionare cut throat evil business tycoon kind of guy.

So I thought of a great idea and decided to go into something that hasn't been done for millenia that no one would think of.

Yes!

Medieval Pluming from over like 1500 years ago!

The foolish skeptics of this crazy world today say that only a mad man would go into insane and obsolete and crazy out of date tech like Medieval Pluming from the Middle Ages.

But they are just fools and I know better!

I even sold the shoes on my feet to bring back to life extremely old and obsolete technology that is completely useless! :)

...

Sadly with in 2 minutes my little business running... I became bankrupt and worth less than dirt! :)

SOOOOO....

I became one of these guys!

All my friends kept calling me "Stinky Stinky!" because I hadn't showered since Noah fell of the bus! ;)

So that is how my name came to be!

Epic huh? :)

Always been into Volkswagen Beetles, I like the soft top versions and the cut down version, which I now own. So it was a Roadster kit applied to a VW Beetle, now a 2+2 Beetle Soft Top.

I have MS and everyone thinks it's the Jerry's Kids disease. It's a 'misunderstood' disease that a lot of people deal with every day, usually in silence. Most symptoms are invisible to others such as numbness, fatigue etc. I've had the moniker since 2000 on the MS forums.

That's my story.

Self explanitory.

Ok, so i guess it may not be quite so plain. I was still new when I wrote this.

I was asked by a good friend to officiate his wedding a few years ago because he's catholic and his wife is protestant. Their families were unable to get along well enough to decide on which side would pick the venue and minister/preacher or whatever, so the logical choice was me

I'm not exactly atheist, but I was very frustrated trying to find a non-denominational "church" to get ordained through to keep it neutral. Many would claim "non-denominational", but in reading their liturature I would find the opposite to be true. So I had to hunt for straight-up "Atheist Church" to apease my frustration.

I have since officiated more than a few weddings of friends, as "The Atheist Reverend" :D

Boyo1991.. pretty old as far as user names go for me. I was young and couldn't decide on a user name. My nickname was boyo and I was born in 1991. Made it pretty easy considering everywhere I went "boyo" was taken lol

Well, all I remember is laughing out loud the first time I saw "Stinky Stinky" as a user name here. :D

It made me imagine parents naming you Stinky at birth, then you living up to the name.

Plus is just seemed clever, in an olfactory sort of way. lol..

This is the first thing that ran through my mind when I read this today:

Then I felt like doing this to Frisco a bazzillion and 1 times for some good ol revenge:

Yak yak!

I was in summer camp, about six years old. It was the first day of camp and everyone was trying to learn as much about each other as six year-olds can. One kid, learning that my name is Jeff, thought about that, then blurted out, "Jefboyardee!" Although it was a good laugh, the name never came up in my life again, until the late nineties, when BBS and fledgling internet forums demanded things called usernames. I thought about that, then blurted out, "Jefboyardee!"

Mine is the username generated by my university when I enrolled back in 2006. I ended up using it for my gmail and just about every online presence I have. Makes it real simple.

When I was in middle school and started to really get into computers I would learn a bit of programming by taking known functioning code, tweaking it a bit, and observing the output. Once I started to understand a little more of how things worked, I would start to build my own little utilities - often by, again, looking at existing code to see what different bits I could mash together to get a desired output. I was litterally splicing code.

I still do that to an extent when I need a quick little script to solve a problem that I haven't encountered before.
