Extended Battery Cover without Verizon logo

Just wondering if anyone has found the extended battery cover without the Verizon logo.

I have the 2100mah battery and would like to rid myself of the Verizon tag. Google is okay, LTE is okay, but no Verizon.

Muchas Gracias and stuff.
 
The GSM battery cover only only has Google and Samsung branding, but i'm not sure if they have an extended version. Does the original battery cover work with your extended battery?

Sort of. It can fit, but it's very tight and causes the center of the cover to bend outward...effectively taking the shape of the more convex extended cover.
 
I've been thinking about this. If you look closely it appears to be a decal. My thought is if you heat it up somewhat you could probably peel it off. I may attempt this if I get bored. Of course take the cover off first. ; )

This. I intend to pull my OEM cover out and give it a whirl at some point... just haven't gotten around to it yet.

If it works, then I'll do the same process to the extended cover.
 
I don't understand why everyone so bothered with the logo. How much time do you spend staring at the back of your phone?

Most people cover it up with a case anyway (I don't).

Verizon logo with big V is so aesthetically unpleasant :p or maybe we are just verizon haters.

I am thinking about test spray paint to matte black on my original battery cover.....but only when i am really bored.

A lot of time, actually. I put it on a glass cleaning towel on my desk while it charges.

I'm going to try the heat/water on the non-expanded battery cover.

We shall see.:eek:

No cases. Not never.
 
Don't think it's only a Verizon thing. I've heard the Sprint version will feature a sprint logo and I would guess any other carriers who subsidize the phone will also get their logo on it. It's not the end of the world and the carriers aren't asking for too much. Better than Verizon not having this phone at all...
 
they could have put it on the front. Thank goodness they didnt. Cant see through my diztronic.

Could be neat to have custom ones though.

Interested to hear your results. I've spent time on far less worthwhile projects than this. The V needs to go.

Heh! This reminds me of the teenagers way of saying , "Get Out of My Life, but First Could You Drive Me & Cheryl to the Mall". :eek:

Good luck on that. Krylon makes a great spray plasticoat that is very durable. You can make your own look eh?
