I assume the extended battery will not be available on release day, but should definitely be available by February? (This is when I will need it by)
Yes you will be able to change the battery and most likely will need it or will have to charge it a few times throughout the day.
i doubt it,,,,
I dont get your theory,,,
You clearly don't own an lte phone than. Not to mention it has a huge hd screen.
Rooted thunderbolt gets me easily through my work day with 4g on. When off, I can make it through the day with no worries. Only turn 4g on when I want to watch a video in HD or download music.
That is like having a ferrari and only driving 25. If you turn off features clearly it will last
That is a horrible reference. With that logic, do you always leave wifi on when you're not around a hotspots?
There's plenty of things that people do on their phones that 3g is plenty fast enough for. It literally takes a second to turn 4g on and be connected to it. I'd hardly even call that a sacrifice

I don't use wifi so I never turn it on. Not to mention wifi is not the network. I am buying a phone to use what it is advertised to be used. I shouldn't have to turn off one of the main selling points.
Hey my moms crappy candy bar phones lasts like 5 days

I agree, however your logic about WiFi is same as his LTE comment. There is NO REASON to turn off Wifi. Mine is on 24/7, it will waste LESS battery. Also you should use Wifi as much as possible as it helps battery life.
My point was why have wifi on when you're not going to use wifi. Same with LTE. having the option to turn 4g on is a selling point for me. Doesn't need to be on all the time since it has a direct impact on battery life.
There is really no point in having LTE on all the time as it wastes battery. It will drain your battery. My office is in a LTE area, and my home is not. My battery lasts plenty longer when in my home area without LTE. Also it is a KNOW FACT that LTE is a battery beast. Our phones are PC's - LOL they need juice and battery makers need to create something to keep up with the current mobile technology.Hey my moms crappy candy bar phones lasts like 5 days

That will not stop many posts complaining about battery life, in spite of common sense points mentioned here.
I hear you, it's just frustrating when my wife (a power user) uses her Iphone for a day and a half without a charge and I am stuck with my DINC where I can go from full charge to 15% while texting, tweeting, and FBing durring a football game on Saturday. This is with hardley any widgets (score mobile only) and GPS, WIFI, and push e-mail off.
She has NOTHING customized on her phone.
you have a app running in the background somewhere,, only way there can be that much drain,,,
people have to learn android is a smartphone(and I hope they dont dumb it down to iOS level when ICS comes out)
do some google searching on how to use your phone,, I did and it has really paid off

thats idiotic logic there,,,
When I get this phone I will use power management the same as my Tbolt that gets me 20+ hrs of life . 3g and wifi on all the time LTE only when needed and juice defender turning my data off while my phone isn't being used and only polling every 15minutes . And I bet with the battery that's bigger in the Nexus I will get better battery life then my Thunderbolt
No reason to always have LTE on imo but to each there own
thats idiotic logic there,,,
so all ferrari drivers do 225mph all the time,,,
i do have large screen phone,, and no to LTE
but i do learn how to use my phone,, and can easily go 2 days on a charge with the galaxy SG2
