Facebook 1.4 update.

Ok, this is a general post, not phone-specific but Facebook has been updated on android today to include places and groups but the places portion still isn't as good as the iphone version. You can only add your own places by address and not GPS location like on the iOS version.

Bit pants if you ask me.

Yeah i was kind of disappointed with the places. It worked really well on my Ipod touch. Hopefully it'll get implemented onto Android devices soon.

I don't use places so its nothing major to me..But then again, saying that, I don't really use the Facebook app..I use the web touch version and the FriendStream

It's a better layout on Android than it is on the iPhone, I'd say. I'd like to see groups integrated, so you can have discussions on stuff though

its faster and smoother obvious addition of places not that i use it.

Just updated my touch 4g and both OS versions are now identical in every way. Yes, the places by GPS option has actually gone from the iOS version. I lol'd.

i love the facebook app, just disappointed because i want to play farmville - my mate can play on her iphone - please mr developer make a proper farmville app
