Has anyone tried the new facebook app update that rolled out today I'm on Cm 7 and its running well How's it working on your device

I've been using Friendcaster for awhile now because I hate the FB app. Is this one much better?

Tried the Facebook app when I first got my optimus v and hated it. I use friendcaster. 10 times better than the facebook app.

We'll see how this update goes. The last versions were pretty crappy. I kept getting event invites, even when I had them unchecked. Also, wasn't getting fb messages/emails. Well, I was, I just had to check manually. Friendcaster was a bit overwhelming, so I deleted that after about two days.

Friendcaster was bought out from when I used it and now its a little much. Facebook is nice however the timing is all tweaked.

I haven't update the app, yet. The app is so bloated now, I want to delete it and just use the mobile site on xScope. I'm afraid it will delete a lot of info from my contacts if I delete it, though, because I have fb info there. What's your experience with that? This phone has such little onboard memory, and the app is up to 13.11 Mb, ugh.

I do enjoy the update; the layout is much better and more navigable than the previous one. However, it is really buggy, pretty slow to load, and tends to freeze on me. Hope Facebook releases a fix soon.

I wish you the very best of luck with that. They will update it, naturally, but that doesn't equal fixing it.
