At last we have a chat feature.....

yup, its correct added chat feature...now downloading to see if its any good as I don't often use the facebook app on the phone just Friend Stream to upload status thats it..

Pretty much the same as it was, just with chat.

Be interesting to see if it still misses notifications......time will tell......

dont actually believe it is...it seems no bigger than the last facebook update only a couple of weeks ago...which is what 2.5MB I think download and around 4.2MB install....

I took it off again as Steven said its just the exact same update as a few weeks ago with added chat...there may be some bug fixes they havent mentioned but all in all its only added chat feature...nothing special.

thats weird, I have the latest version according to my market, but the picture on the market is different to my actual app and it doesnt have chat.

facebook says 1.4.1 in my app info and thats the version on the market

Added Push Notification they say but i dont have them.

Push looks to only be applicable to chat. Other notifications are plain old sync just like they used to be.

gah i was excited that we were finally going to get push notications possibly for more than just a group invite and more for stuff like comments, but alas, nothing.

Apparently it IS full push notifications for comments, likes, pokes, etc.

Not had them myself, though, but someone on XDA posted screenshots of the drop down showing them

Like Eddy I'm getting full push notifications on EVERYTHING!!!!
