Help Facebook not syncing with contacts' icons

Ever since the Gingerbread update on my EVO, I've been having a problem with my contacts' icons. I've had my contacts synced with Facebook ever since I got the phone, and put their Facebook profile picture as their icon for that contact.

But after I updated to Gingerbread, these photos no longer update when my contacts change their profile pictures on Facebook. They're stuck on photos from several weeks ago.

Anyone else having this problem?

What you can try is wipe the data HTC Sense Facebook. Go to Menu>settings>applications>manage applications>All> go to Facebook for HTC Sense> then clear data.

Then reboot the phone

Then go to setup and resign into Facebook for HTC Sense. Then your contacts will repopulate

I am having the same issue on the Mesmerize. I just recently re-did the update and now have the problem. I use to be able to "mark as default" for what I wanted to show for any of my contacts and I always chose facebook, and now I am unable to "mark as default" on any of my contacts. I have them all "Joined" together (google, phone and facebook) but every time I go to mark as default I get "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." It even did this before I had facebook downloaded. I have wiped the phone back to factory reset numerous times without any change.

what worked for me was:

Tap on PEOPLE
Tap on ANY Contact that also has a corresponding FB link
Tap on MENU>ALL
Tap on the GLOBE along the bottom row of icons
Tap on FACEBOOK

You should now see all your Facebook contacts and if they aren't refreshing tap on MENU>REFRESH and it will repopulate your contact images. Best done over WiFi.
