I want to unroot my Huawei Ascend Y H866C but cannot find any web pages on how to do it. If I do a hard factory reset will that unroot it?

No, a factory reset will not remove root. Some of the better supported phones have special unroot tools created by the development community. Otherwise, you need to flash the phone back to stock. The method and file availability varies by manufacturer and I'm not positive how Huawei does theirs.
