Dont worry about it. for some reason on this site, my computer is moving freakishly slow.

Were you able to get the ROM onto the SD card from my post above?

If you are on a windows machine the easiest way of making sure its on the root is to hit my computer and then drag and drop the ROM onto the drive that signifies your phone.

Ahh! So simply drop the .zips to the external drive that includes folders such as:

.android-secure, .htcnews, DCIM, etc?

Ahh! Wasn't sure is this was the root of the sd card or the devices harddrive, hence my confusion.

Yes, the box that pops up on your screen is the contents of the SD card. It cannot access the internal memory of the device that way.

Thanks but I know what "root" means, just don't don't how to access the root of my sd card, make sense?

Presently I am in "usb-ms toggle". So how do I move the .zips using this method as well?

as long as your phone is connected via usb, a window should pop up with the card's content just move it to the card that way.

i see the confusion. what you are seeing is the cards content and not the phone.

3. or you can connect the phone via usb and then go into recovery and select from the main menu: usb-ms toggle. you can then transfer the rom over.

And I now see what you meant by this. Thank you. Saves me from rebooting as a disk drive. My confusion was simply not realizing that I was in the sd cards' root!!
