Help factory resetted my device and lost data

I recently factory reset my device and lost data, and even 2 hrs on the phone with tech support from both verizon and HTC cant solve it....
I remember there being a stick about this issue but cant find it....
any help is much appreciated....

If you did a factory reset, then of course you lost data. All of it. A factory reset completely defaults the software on the phone and resets it to the condition in which it left the factory. Hence, the term "factory reset".

I believe the OP meant that his 3G data connection will not connect.

Here are my suggestions:
Reprogram your phone by dialing *228 option 1 and 2.
Soft rest (turn your phone off then back on)
Turn on airplane mode, wait 5 minutes, and turn it back on
