Might I suggest GingerBreak?

Last i checked it was working great.

its great 2 hear you say that savoxis. that is how i rooted my phone. i'm guessing your still not promoting 1 clicks. i would like to hook up with you in the irc. i have some questions...is there a time when you monitor the irc that i am likely 2 get you?

Just FYI, GingerBreak is a one click rooting method.

If people are having trouble with rooting the Ally, just use SuperOneClick. It's funny because in IRC they don't support it but Savoxis supports Gingerbreak (which can be used by SOC LOL!) You can flash Clockwork Recovery or Amon-Ra after. Badabing Badaboom rooted.

Hey, sorry for the late reply but I am having trouble with my zte blade. I can't root it with universal androot or z4root. I have android 2.2. I don't know much about this stuff

You can connect the mobile to your computer, switch on usb debugging and root your phone using VROOT (now iROOT)
