Help Failing Everytime

I went in to recovery and try to install something,wish I could put CWM on it so it would work. Then it said in red can't verify signature string abort then restarts? how do I get past the signature thing

S2 jellyverse 4.1.2 fk23
 
If you are on stock recovery you can't. Recovery has to be packaged with the kernel. As such, you have to put in a kernel that has recovery. FK23 was one of the first leak builds. They have the official build of GB27 out now.
 
I have the latest version, I just can't get past base band FK23 and software FK23. I can't even get in to CWM anymore. It does work perfect on 23. modem take a while to pop up but one's it up it drops to 1x but get faster speeds at 1x then 3G 400 1x 190 3 G ? wacky
 
I would do a titanium backup of your apps and sync contacts wilh Google or back them up on sd card and then do a one click install of GB27 and then do the new jellyverse. For recovery use the source built GB27 with Agat's tREC (version 0.1.0).

I liked FK23 when I ran it, but I will say once I got to GB08 and GB27 my modem and data performance was so much better averaging 1,700 to 1,900kbps on 3g Getting almost 2Mbps on 3g in my area is not bad with only one tower in my area.
 
I did everything you said and more! I can not get off software FK23, I flashed the kernal gb27 the did CG01 kernel then tried modem CGO1, would not take . So how do I change the software and base-band to CG01 and modem. and get off FK 23? then put jellyverse on?
 
It worked, my mistake was I had kies open all the other times cuase I read you need it open to do a flash. I did see where a new modem was but on. Speeds still horrible, I looked and it said EVDO rev A;8. whats the ;8 from?
 
Did you do a full restore? How is the signal strength in your area? Nothing you download into your phone will help fix being in a poor signal area. I haven't seen any instructions that tell you to open Kies when doing a one click Odin flash. The only reason you need to install Kies is because it also installs the Samsung USB drivers that you do need. If you live in a good signal area (the phone stays at 3 bars and higher) then you may need a SCRTN reset. It can also be them working on the towers in your area (if that is the case you will have to just wait it out).
 
yes did a full restore root the one you linked, Signal is house is 5 bars plus 4 G at the house. Tower is 6 block up my same road. I just don't under stand the ;8, slips to 1x but streaming is flawless.
 
I need to restart 2 time before it catches a good flow, why with jellyvers do it turn off wifi and moden when sleep? I want them on for back ground stuff. I'm at 1 gig and have 10 days to go so data is not a problem over the network or wifi?
 
I don't run it I am stock rooted GB27 with a couple of adjustments of my own. I haven't herd anything bad about Jellyverse. If WiFi is sleeping when the phone sleeps that would be a setting (under settings/WiFi hit menu then select advanced).

Its the ds battery saver included. .. turn it off or lower the setting. The stock setting turns off data and syncs like 1 minute every hour
