Just heard that a memo went out to Sprint tech staff stating that the EVO 4G Froyo 2.2 Update is suspended indefinitely.

Sounds like there may be some glitches that can't be fixed quickly.
 
He may not be wrong..

It appears that the update will be pushed back.. I got the same info as well..

Could be wrong.. I guess we shall see tomorrow
 
No one knows ANYTHING definitive about the update period. The OP could be right or wrong.

If you have a problem with a thread, hit the report button and have a mod look at it. It's much easier.

Give me a break. I post something that sounds credible and you torch me for it? Did you even look at the link I posted? Sorry if I'm not lurking around here all day like you and actually working at the office most of the time. The 2.2 update was bigger to me than chatting about the latest flashlight app.

Go tell your mom to make you some meatloaf.

Considering that Sprint has made ZERO official announcements of Froyo's pending release tomorrow, the OP could be on to something.....

That would suck goat ballz tho....

Why do pple get so upset just becuase someone is suggesting Froyo may be delayed? It's not the OP's fault is it?

Thanks for actually showing a little support for me in sharing a rumor I saw (as opposed to those who were so quick to bury me). I never read in the forum rules that it was a violation to post rumors.

Will those who berated me above come back and eat crow tomorrow?
 
You big meanness will eat your words when he is right tomorrow. Some people on here need to learn how to treat others with the common decency we are all entitled too. The early release has problems maybe the official release does too:/

Announcement? They already made one. It was last week. This is not the release of a new product, that is constantly pushed out by Sprint and HTC. It's just a simple software update.
