How many players are we picking? How many of each position, etc. Do we pick defensive players or just 1 entire defense or just offense? Is all of this on our league page somewhere?

Yea. Depends on if you use your full 2 minutes per pick. Random drafts take longer because people can't practice their draft position.

QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R (WR or RB - called the flex position), K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN (bench).
1 defense. Or 2 or 3 if you'd like. lol. but you can only play 1 at a time.
Everything is under 'scoring and settings' - second toolbar down, blue lettering.

You can only use 20 moves in the 16 weeks (to prevent exploiting) so drop players cautiously. You'll want to save at least 2 drops/adds for the playoffs in case you make it and players get injured late.
Trades take 2 days to process. Can be vetoed by league voting against it. This prevents exploiting as well.

Okay, was the commish a kicker back in the day??? There's an awful lot of math to that position's scoring in our league.
