Fascinate development has stopped...

Birdman tweet: fascinate is broken, development stopped indefinitely.

That is discouraging. ...
 
JayC bird made the comment in IRC. He said he was drunk and dropped it on grass, so I dont know about that one. But he said he does not have insurance so, we'll see what the future brings. Admittedly, the rest of the gang is still doing a ton of work, this is not something Im worried about at all quite frankly. Birdman will find a way to get back in the game and until he does we're moving along just fine IMO

yeah im disappointed to see this but hopefully he can get it replaced by samsung or something...either way...he has at times said he d be taking a step back from stuff only to be back the next day :) whatever the situation
 
I think I got spoiled when I had my original Droid and it seemed like 10 new roms and improvements to old ones were coming out daily. Hoping if 2.2 ever comes out things will start rolling.

remember the og droid had nothing for the first several months it was out...same for the droid incredible....we have a decent amount of stuff out now...ie daily kernels...but ya gotta go get them in irc

I dont remember that about the Droid but I do remember that with the Dinc..when I had mine there was nothing..I looked about a month ago and its packed with roms now. I really don't know much about irc...I just go here and xda..I'm just phone junkie that gets bored with stock and likes to tweak a bit..:D

This place is a lot more laid back to hang out but ya gotta hit irc to be "in the new"
 
i think it took like 2 months to root the og droid and it didnt see custom roms til maybe february...but i could be wrong...the inc took nearly 6 weeks to root as well.

the nature of the DJ05 leak we are running is really why it hasnt been plastered over message boards and kept in irc.
