Root Fastboot / Bootloader issues

Ok, so I need to flash to stock but come to find out my end call button quit working so can't get in the old fashioned way (vol down, end call, power). Does anyone know of an app compatable with the ascend that will allow me to enter the bootloader or even the terminal command to (if there is one) ive tried numerous apps but none seem to work..

EDIT: Ok, just found a post about using adb to get into the bootloader.. connected via adb and ran the command "adb reboot bootloader".. The phone just restarted as normal.. could the bootloader have been corrupted and if so is there a way to repair it?

boot loader is not mess up. ;)

I'm not sure to take that as good or bad :) Got excited when I saw a reply lol.. At wits end today with this phone.. Ever seen anything like that before (the bootloader not loading, not the wits end part :) )

long as stock is on there and you take it back they shouldnt have a problem swapping phones with you, just let them know you turn your phone on and it was acting crazy...

just the issue of getting stock back on there.. is it possible to do it through adb or any other means besides fastboot? can't get into it to save my life..

Tried that numerous times.. Won't work in the ROM itself either at all... The end call has bit the big one.. Gonna get it warrantied soon.. Just gotta dig around for a stock ROM.. On a side note was in the metro store and they told me I could still trade it in on another phone.. I asked what about the admire.. They said oh we can sell you that for 138 with trade in.. Was like its only 129 online.. Trying to pull one over on me lol or just that bad lol
