Root Faster way to UNROOT

Hey is there a faster way to unroot other than what is listed in the rooting for dummies thread.
basically im giving my phone away and want to unroot it for my dad. would jsut installing the OTA android update unroot it ?

No.

You need to flash both the stock RUU rom and the S-on zip. Without the s-on zip your phone is technically still rooted.

are those the files i need

If all I did was root and I'm still running the stock rom, can I just run the S-Off.Zip instead of flashing a stock Rom? thanks!

yes and no. yes in that you will have s-on. but that is all it will do. you will still have a custom rom and more importantly you will have a custom recovery. so if you need to take it in for whatever reason, they will know that you were rooted as some point. the only way to get it off is to install the stock rom and recovery via PC36IMG.
