Fatality: 2019

One too many hamsters.

Comedian and Entertainer Freddie Starr has passed in Spain at 76.

A little out there, but definitely a Starr.

I believe that was an urban legend, perpetuated by The Sun. But it did inspire some games at the time.

Most people knew it wss debunked, I think.
Perhaps the wrong thing to bring up at this time, but it would stir some memories of him for some and it endeared him or made people look at him with fondness in later years.

Not what you meant I'm sure, and thanks for the article. He wasn't my complete cup of tea, but he wasn't big in Ireland, and I came to the UK in 87.

@MoodyBlues very sad and seemingly unfair last 10 years of his life, having read that now I'm awake.

Yes, Doris Day has died, but she was much more than an actor and singer.

She holds a special place in my heart for her decades of working for animal rights. Her Doris Day Animal League, which I'm proudly a member of, has worked tirelessly for the animals since the year before I turned vegetarian, for ethical reasons.

Day will be sorely missed by all those who've looked to her for level-headed advocacy for other sentient beings. And we're blessed to have her acting and singing talents available for repeated enjoyment, now and in the future.

If you're feeling like adding flowers to her stars on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, she'd appreciate it much more if you donated to DDAL instead.

RIP, Doris. Thank you for using your fame to bring attention to the plight of animals suffering. And the next time I watch my favorite of your movies, The Man Who Knew Too Much, I'll remember the joy you brought so many through your talents.

Edit: plural 'stars'

What horrible week First Dorris Day, then Tim Conway and now Ashley Massaro. Thoughts and prayers are with their friends, family and fans

I’ve never followed “professional” wrestling, but Ashley Massaro’s death at just 39 is sad. No cause of death has been noted.

She appear originally in the wwe diva search. I think she was in season three or four. The diva search was sex things up in the wwe, get some young beautiful woman , with great bodies put them in skimpy bikinis and lingerie and have them prance around .
By the time Ashley Massaro show up the whole diva thing had run it's course. People had gotten bored with the sex kitten act. Ashley as I recall was a scrapper, while most wwe story lines concerning women still focus on their physical beauty. Starting with Ashley the story lines began to focus more on wrestling and rivilaries
