after buying a new phone the other day (Samsung Mega 6.3), My MUST have apps right away are Swype keyboard and Handcent messaging. Other than that a really nice app that is helpful is the 'google keep' widget
 
just curious, is there a thread that consolidates every app into specific genres? like best security app, best weather apps, best music players etc etc

There are several good Permission Blocker apps in "The Market" that has no permissions listed for the blocker app although the blocker app can actually modify and recompile a restricted version of any apk loaded on my t.e.d.6. Is this a contradiction in no-permissions d;clared for such app? Also, why would other permission-blocker apps require access to your photos and media-files? Are they trying to getva freebie look into my "sompn-sompn" vids - if any at all?

Hi Lowrider! Good seeing you! I settled for the Paid version of Permission Blocker (cost 99c) on my Galaxy Note II . This app has root access but limited to modifying apks installed by you but system-installed apps modification is coming.

I chose this app after checking similar permission blocker apps and finding that others required access to your Media Files both video and mp3, Contact info, and areas that seem to not have a relation to the apps purpose. It made me wonder "why such access is needed for a permission-blocker- app"

Viber is my favorite app by far. Because the features that this apps has and you can internet call anyone directly from your phone and send free sms :)

Yes by all means check that app out! its great! I got so tired of not being able to "draw' that funny default square around a pic that I want in a wallpaper scene then when I view it, its like ive zoomed into someones backside lol. This thing works! After that check THIS out!

Hi GTA. I don't know , but I think Launcher Pro is no longer supported by the developer. Looks like 2011 or 2012 was its latest update and no one has heared from the developer (which I hope is alive and well).

But I found an alternative with the same and MUCH more functions as Launcher Pro.

its ATOM LAUNCHER , FREE and frequent updates from developer!

You can use the "Atom Launcher icons" as shown in GooglePlay or you can use the same look and feel that we are used to with Launcher Pro. The Screenshots in my post (about Image 2 Wallpapers) is using Atom Launcher where I customed it to look and function just like Launcher Pro
