I have to say my newest favorite app is Best Apps - a group of geeks, I guess, (kinda like us! ) sort out apps in the market and organize them into tons of categories with good descriptions so you don't have to go through the garbage apps in Android market. They took it out of the market though but they are fighting to get back in.
Shush is a simple but genius little app. When you turn your phone on silent, Shush pops up asking how long you want your phone silenced. Say 45 minutes. It will automatically switch your phone to loud after 45 minutes have elapsed.
No more missing important calls or angry people asking why I wasn't answering my phone.
Yeah, I have looked into Tasker for this and Locale too. Actually, there's a ton of other things I could use tasker for as well so I'll probably be getting it soon (and heading to the Tasker thread). If you like that look into tasker it does that and much much more but it has a little bit of a learning curve

For now, Shush is a neat solution to an everyday little problem. That's what I like about Android. You find solutions to problems you never thought about before there was an app for them.

If you're getting XM with Tune In, I want to know where you got your version because my Tune In only plays AM & FM and I have to pay for XM.
I didn't know you could get XM on Tune In if your were rooted. I hope it works better thanXM's mobile app.
I use them both, here's why:Soundhound or Shazam ..which one do you think is better ?
Thanks
I find that Shazam is able to pick up the music much faster than Soundhound. When I used Soundhound, I had to make sure everything is almost dead quiet -_-;;; For finding the name of the song, I think Shazam is better but a tad overprice imo.I use them both, here's why:
Shazam is capable of fetching even the faintest music in a noisy place. Sounhound can't do that because it tunes into EVERYTHING (including voices!). But because Sounhound listens to voices, you can sing a tune and it'll pick it up (Shazam can't). They compliment each other very nicely: get them both!
