Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

It's a pretty simple thing, but I have to say that Awesome Drop is probably my all-time favorite useful app. K-9 Mail (makes my Yahoo! work) and ES File Explorer are two other apps I use a lot.

Looking for a web browser "Capture" app that can capture the screen and not blank out the still shot of a clip that may be playing. Similar to the screenshot below:

I've tried several web browser capturing apps but each will return only text info and no pics.

The internal sceenshot in Boat Browser, adds text, but has the lower portion of the shot. Very odd.

Yet Shootme takes whatever is on the screen (both same video in Boat):

Noodles - ToDo list that actually works!

And I did try out dozens before finally founding something that I liked :-D

It doesn't seem sophisticated enough for me. I need to be able to put in repeating tasks like paying bills. Seems very simple and straightforward though. I am currently using Astrid Tasks, but it's not perfect either. I wish it could remind me days ahead of when something is due rather than having me set it a week before it actually is due.

Me too, tried all the top ones, most too complex. Really liked "Check and Done", but then decided I wanted something that syncs to Google Tasks, so I switched to Gtasks. It's great, but I thought the text is too small on my 3.2" screen. Tried this one today: Any.DO for Android | AppBrain.com

Maybe the my keeper. Syncs to Google and organizes the list in a much better manner than Tasks does. Little pain adding new items to a specific folder, but drag and drop works well.

Do any of those mentioned above have a scrolling list/task widget?

I just got beguiled 2 today haha great improvement over the first one and the apple one and it's free on amazon so grab it if you can

And is there an phandrois app for iPad Hahaha

I was using Gtasks, and it did have a scrolling widget. I'm using Any.DO now and it's widget actually scrolls like a stock ticker, cool, but probably drains battery. I just click from an icon.

Adaptxt is one such keyboard , that has replaced my traditional keyboard and a good alternative to swift key specially because of the industry specific language addon packs it has to offer and all for free.

I've not had battery problems with WWF but you can try WordFeud which is better in every way. Unfortunately, it's hard to get iphone friends to make the switch
Cheers, but was hoping for a solution to the WWF battery situation rather than abandoning it altogether.

so i just got juice defender i have her a bit about it anyone know if it actually works?

I dont know how this Juice Defender works. But I bought the Ultimate version and it was a dud.

I experimented by using JD on and off and doing almost the same tasks and surprise surprise, while USING JD, my battery life was worse !! I think the Android system manages the battery much better.

I just use this simple app which switches off my Wifi when not in range and that has helped me add a hour or two to my battery life.
