Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

I will scan this thread for an ap that can tell me which apps may be running in the background and how much data it is using without my physically utilizing whichever ap could be eating data on the back end.

This functionality is built in the Ice-Cream-Sandwitch Android update.

I dont know how this Juice Defender works. But I bought the Ultimate version and it was a dud.

I experimented by using JD on and off and doing almost the same tasks and surprise surprise, while USING JD, my battery life was worse !! I think the Android system manages the battery much better.

I just use this simple app which switches off my Wifi when not in range and that has helped me add a hour or two to my battery life.

Yes, its a drainer. Others including myself, have tried and unstalled shortly after.

It doesn't seem sophisticated enough for me. I need to be able to put in repeating tasks like paying bills. Seems very simple and straightforward though. I am currently using Astrid Tasks, but it's not perfect either. I wish it could remind me days ahead of when something is due rather than having me set it a week before it actually is due.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but have you tried cozi. It has a calender and a to do list which you can share with others.

I really like Llama: Location profiles it changes settings on your phone according to parameters you give based on location, time, etc...

New "favorites" at least once a week... this weeks are:

PowerTutor - Android app on AppBrain
You can actually watch how opening and closing an app effects power (drain). Turn on airplane mode and watch it drop! Shows you mW of power for EACH app, or all together. Best battery monitor I've tried! It drains the battery itself, so only use it for short tests, or some fixed time (ie: don't forget to turn it off).

My other fav this week is: Google Tasks Organizer Lite for Android | AppBrain.com Great app if you like using Google Tasks. Lots of type size options, syncs well, more organized that Google Tasks.

That power tutor looks interesting going to get it now

My favorite apps are K9-Mail as a better EMail Client especially for IMAP and the other one is Moon Reader for reading ebooks

What it do?

Heres one quick review

1. it supports url and other hotlink within the note you create. you can call or look up a url within the note
2. you can add any of the notes as a sticky note onto your home screen
3. set reminders and timer notifications on a note so it will pop up later on your phone.
4. password off selected notes ( to protect personal notes)

My wife and I are loving Mousewait. Its a little glitchy at times but the content is great for Disney geeks. Their forums, pics and vids let you feel like you've gone to your 'happy place" a little every day!,

College Football Database- will tell you anything about college football since 1900 including point spreads since 1978! Perfect for a NCAA football fan!

I want to know how many people are still unaware of it, and how many are familiar with this? If you can explain about this in detail, then be very helpful for novices like me. It will be very helpful to me if anyone can shed some light on this. What is most important according to you? I know everything in detail, so please help me regarding .

Welcome to AF Jolie... Im not too familiar with that link and not sure what you are asking, so I domt think I will click it.

PicSay Pro is in my top 5. Well worth the couple bucks.

Thanks for this post! I recently stopped using "BeFunky" (what a name) and installed PicSay (free) about 3 wks ago.

Can you tell me the differences between the free and Paid as far as functionlity youve used? I have one issue with font sizing. when i add a text bubble to a pic and change the font size to smallest, it is still large

Wondering if more font sizing features exists in the paid vesion.

I honestly don't know the differences. I accidentally bought the full version and after playing for my 14 minutes before the refund window closed I realized I loved it.

LOL thats nice, its a good thing when you come across a paid app that turns out this good! The free is great but i KNOW the paid version has extra features which cant help but be a plus! ill consider purchasing at my next paycheck. ddont want to .99, 5.00, 10.00 myself out onto the streets (lol) and cant pay my major expenses.
