Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

I've been getting a kick out of the Camscanner.
Which allows me to take a pic of any document, image etc and make it a pdf to send out via numerous places like email, Google Docs, Dropbox, box.met, bump, google plus, text(sms), picasa, etc.

Only thing missing is ability to make the pdf editable.

TS

I love the app :) Bought it to get watermark off.

ezPDF Reader is only $0.10 in the market. It allows you to edit your PDF. You might want to look into it TS ;)

The best App I have found so far is Auto App Organizer. I have over a hundred apps and this app allows me to logically organize them and put widgets on the home screen to access app categories.

Must have app for people with large amounts of apps.
Agreed. I was tipped off about it on this thread and haven't looked back since. I tried Simi again but the lack of automatic categorisation, a newbie folder or editing app category within a folder becomes irritating.

I'm using folder organizer but as there are 2 people vouching for this app, I'm going to give it a spin :)

Forgive me if it was alrdy mentioned. I saw many of you that like anycut and wanted to mention this app as It seems to me anyway that it does even more. I bought it and really really love it. check out Extended Controls by Honolulu Team

nope don't work for them just love the app... great short cuts of all kinds

App is not very intuitive. The description says it AUTOMATICALLY categorizes your apps. I can't find any settings that does that. I refresh my apps and it's pulled them in, uncategorized. OK, I checked off the applications I intended to categorized but there seems to be no such option.

The first time you run it, in the categories tab, do Menu>Batch>Offer Category For All and let it go online. If it gets any wrong you go into each category and check the apps that need to be moved then Menu>Edit and select the new category.

Where the Auto feature is really beneficial is when you download new apps. They are automatically categorised, put in the relevant folder and all new apps go in a Newbie folder within which you can further edit categories just by long pressing an app. Like so:

I always keep the newbie folder on a homescreen because it gives me quick access to my latest downloads to play with when I get time.

You would have really appreciated the power of AAO if you had it for the 10p promotion.

@Sak

I didn't like the app. I felt that the layout to be too cumbersome and it didn't organize half of my apps properly. Too much work to recategorize it. I uninstalled it. Good thing it was only $0.10.

I am currently using GoToApp and I prefer the layout in there.

There's us peer pressuring you into getting it :p.

But are you sure you got the correct app? It's free not $0.10.

looks like its cool want to try!

Handcent also has this feature and is a great app itself.

If i was only allowed to have 1 app on my phone, it would be swype by far. I find that all the other apps are pretty much an advanced, rendered or tweaked version of the stock ones.
Swype is a total overhall and takes typing to a whole other level. Would be sweet if they could incorporate it with the numbers so you can enter phone numbers as well.

Oh...was it free O.o I've been downloading so many apps for $0.10 that I thought this one was one of the promotion. *whistles*

I went from Folder Organizer, to Auto App Organizer, and now on Smart Shortcuts. Not sure why, other than I think I like the icons in Smart Shortcuts better than the other 2. Guess I'll have to try Gotoapp now...

GoToApp is more like a App Drawer replacement than a folder organizer you place on your home screen. GoToApp kind of makes home screen folders redundant for me.

For those that have Time Warner Cable as their cable provider, i downloaded the TWC-TV app and must say i am impressed. Works very well and only thing i wish it had would be the capability of giving your device you are pairing to a simple name to remember rather than a mac address. With so many boxes, its hard to remember which box belongs to whom. or in what room.

Love being able to record a app when i am not home.

Xfinity app works great too for those with Comcast, and you can name your devices. Comes in handy when you are out and forgot to set something to record, or when you just went to mess with someone and change the channel while they are watching tv

Looks cool... I just tried and says "not compatible with your device" (Galaxy Player). Odd it's not but Jeannie is.

On a Christmassy note, Everfriends is a pretty cool free assistant app that just came out. So far it seems to do pretty much everything that Siri does, but with a bit more personality.

I have to repeat Enhanced Email again. Now the updated version displayes multiple envelope icons of different colors that you set-up per account so now, I can tell which of my email accounts has new messages in the inbox.

I use the "select all" and "delete all" feature the most.

Facebook and messenger. I know Android has lagged behind for a long time, but not anymore!! I love the messenger app for Facebook as it actually uses push notifications, and the Facebook app for Android was the first mobile app that used the new timeline feature!

The Android app is actually as good as the Facebook app on my iPad! The only thing missing is push notifications for all notifications then I could quit using Friend Caster.

I am about to recant my boast of Enhanced Email. I've found out that this app causes ALL of my installed apps to start up in the background.. ODD!! No other app has done this. What type of permission could one app have that can cause all installed apps to run in the background???

Can anyone confirm this? I have trouble with startup's, i wondered about EE myself. Thank Sir for bringing this to the table.
