Favorite Coffee

I recently tried a new coffee that I thought was the nectar of the gods. I usually drink Dunkin Doughnuts for my coffee but we had run out so I decide to go to the local market pick up some bagels and coffee. When I go to grab some coffee I do not recognize any of the brands that are available so I pick the one that looks the best. It was a little pricey at 10 bucks for a pound but I needed something. I get home and brew a pot right away waiting for the tell tale beep that it is done. With my mug waiting I pour myself a cup and I am amazed at what hits my taste buds pure heaven. I go back to the tin and start reading, the first thing I notice is I bought 8.8 oz for 10 bucks not a pound :( but it was worth it. The coffe was Illy Moka. If you are looking for a smooth cup of coffee and want to treat your self give it a try.

I would like to try other coffe now so if any of you have recommendations post your choice.
 
We used to use Illy at our restaurants but finally changed to Counter Culture which is pretty good, but not as robust as Illy.

I'm on a tea kick now so haven't drank too much coffee in a while. We have a Keurig so we're able to rotate out a bunch of different K-cups. :)
Before, one of my favorites (and not terribly expensive) was this one from Whole Foods:

I never have been a coffee drinker myself except for a cup here & there, however the wife got a Keurig coffee maker about a month ago & I'm all in. She buys the Millstone brand Hazelnut Cream flavored cup thingys. I never understood peoples addiction/obsession w/ coffee until now.:tee:
 
Last year I was invited to try a "white coffee". This is made from coffee beans that are only very lightly roasted. The result is a coffee that appears as if you've added a lot of milk - the grounds are actually light tan in color rather than brown. It has a high caffeine content and has a hint of peanut butter in the taste. White coffee beans have the same color as peanuts and the resulting coffee has a taste that is very different from regular coffee.

Some folks think of white coffee as regular coffee with milk added, but true white coffee is from white coffee beans. It was delicious but it's difficult to find white coffee beans.

Has anyone else here tried white coffee?

I would love to try "white coffee" but I can't seemed to find it.
 
I'd never heard of white coffee beans! Sounds great - really want to try some now!

Lavazza Gold and Illy are good - brought some back from Italy last time I was there as it's so much cheaper there - too tight to buy it here :)

I've never been a big fan of Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts coffee. If that is all I can get, I will drink it, but I prefer my Community Cafe Special blend.
 
On the road, Dunkin's so I know what I'm getting, but with cream and sugar because if the water sucks (chlorine) I can taste it in black coffee. I sip water out of the gutter before I consume the poor excuse for coffee they serve at Starbucks. And that's not even taking into account the price or arrogance of the place and the employees.

At home, black coffee, preferably a bold French or Italian roast. If I can get a real one, I like an expresso with a dark chocolate bite on the side but that is pretty rare here (see above comments about Starbucks).
 
I like löfberg lila (crescendo) också, also President gold label.. But i buy alot of fresh roasted coffee beans from the local roaster (70/30 robusta/arabica) and use a moka pot.
