I love ginger drinks. Ever had a homemade ginger-ale? It will wake your mouth the hell up as it burns its way to your tummy.

Never had a homemader'... Sounds awesome. I have a local health/bulk food co-op that has niche brand small batch (lol) sodas. One of which is a real ginger brew that will light your a$$ up! So good... Also, they have a cola that has ginger in it, and it is by far the best cola I've ever tried. I don't remember the brand of the ginger beer, but the cola is Fentiman's. You should try it. Old school style like your coke story. 2.50 for an 8 oz. glass bottle, and worth every penny.

I voted for coke because I knew no one would know my favorite soda. My favorite soda is called SKI. Its a mix of mountain dew and sun drop. They use all real fruit and real sugar. Good stuff. You can only get it in certain parts of Southern IN and IL, KY and TN.

I just went to their site, and it said that they use High fructose corn syrup at some of their bottling plants. That sucks. Guess I won't be ordering any.

I voted for other being that my favorite is Faygo Red Pop and just about any other kind of Faygo. However it's rather hard to find in the south (QT only place I know of) so I drink Dr. Pepper for the most part.

Ooooh - Faygo Red Pop and a vanilla for a float from heaven, nothing on earth like it.

That and straight Vernors - as kids, we used to drink it hot in the winter, ice-cold in the summer.

I only get mine at Excel bottling company in Breese Il. I know they use real sugar cane because most of the time I can see it being bottled while I'm picking mine up. It was really nice when I lived at home they would deliver me a case (30 glass bottles) a week at my house for $15. Really miss that.

i work for a local distributor and we just picked up sun drop a few months ago... love it... IMHO, gives MD a run for it's money... and besides, has more caffeine...
