I've been trying to cut down on the amount of pop that I drink, so I bought one of those SodaStream machines ... a device that lets you make your own carbonated water, which you can later add flavorings to. I love the thing.

I just remembered how much I love chocolate Cokes. Anyone else like flavored Cokes like homemade cherry Coke, lemon Coke, and the aforementioned delectable chocolate Cokes?

BTW, by homemade, I mean adding adjuncts to Coke in bottles, (or if you live near a soda fountain) like Chocolate and other syrupy goodness.

Yeeeeee Gods, did he say chocolate Coke? Very popular back in the day and give it a go.

Perhaps I am simply nuts.

Speaking of nuts, who here puts peanuts in their Cokes?

Separate things. Chocolate Cokes are indeed great.

Long time ago, putting peanuts in your bottle of coke was popular.

Never tried nuts in a chocolate coke, however.
 
Wow, people getting violent and rowdy over soda! It is just carbonated flavored sweetened water. There is a limited amount of poll choices you can make. Me, I love me some diet cherry vanilla Pepsi. The best thing that ever dripped down my esophagus.
 
Dr. Pepper is my go to coke. I dunno why everyone around here in Texas refers to 'soda' as coke but we just do lol.

But Dr. Pepper and some bicardi 151 is my favorite night drank.

If they call soda, "coke" in Texas, what do they call Coca-Cola? I recall someone telling me that he asked for a Coke in Texas and was asked what kind of coke.
 
A convo would go like this.
A:What do you want to drink?
B:How bout a coke?
A:Okay, what kind?
B:Just a coke.
A:alright.

lol. I can't speak for all of texas seeing as how it's rather large, but everyone I know is like that.

So, if I want to order a Coca-Cola, I have to say it twice. If I want a 7up, I can just say it once.
 
I usually get IBC, A&W or Barqs....I tried a different kind one day...It was called Stewarts...it was pretty good.

Stewart's is from where i live. NJ. They even have hot dog stands with Car side service!
