Favorite widgets? (not apps)

OneClick makes great utility switch widgets such as wifi, bluetooth, airplane, and more. They run perfectly on home++, unlike some other widgets.

Bought Pure Messenger widget mentioned above but didn't care for it. If someone can make a good email widget they will quickly become very popular...
 
Pure Calendar widget is the best widget by far to me... I love that it integrate my calendar with Astrid. Plus it is skinable. MotoTorch is nice, and Beautiful Widgets Home consolidates a lot into a small space (alarm, calendar, weather).

Does anyone know how to get the stock Google Search widget on Home++? Everytime I add the widget to a Home++ screen it is a cheesy looking version with the mic icon in a yellow star. When I go to the stock home screen and add the widget it looks a bit bulkier and the mic icon is just in a grey square. This has bothered me ever since getting Home++.

Audio Manager

I also love the Where app, but dont see too much use in the widget.

If anybody uses PureMessenger, the dev is working on a very nice new layout for it. I e-mailed him out of curiosity to see if he was ever planning on making a 4x1 widget. While he didn't answer that question directly, he did link to his website where there is a mockup of the new design, and it's very sleek.

I believe you have to flash the 2.1 ROM to your Droid, which presumably means you need to root it first. Or you could just wait and see if we get 2.1 as an official update in January, in which case it will be available to you.

No root/flash is required to install the News and Weather widget...it's a standalone widget that doesn't require any changes to install. Just put it on your SD card, enable installs from other sources (can't remember the exact wording) in Settings, and install.

So it's compatible with 2.0.1? If so I'll have to install it, wasn't aware of that.

It has been fixed. I was in the same boat as you. I downloaded it a couple weeks ago and it and it bugged the hell out of me so I unistalled. Checked it out again the other day and they had noted that the Droid alignment issues were fixed. Looks perfect now :D

Weather forecast widget v2 - Sense looking weather widget, with icon and skin packs. Can also pull info from calendar. Bunch of sizes from 1x1 to 4x4, larger ones show calendar. "Donate" version unlocks a lot of stuff, €0.99, $1.49. Dev is helpful and has responded to me within the hour.

Stock calendar - Don't have a lot on my calendar so I usually only need one task showing
BlueRSS - 4x1 widget shows a single item from feed, button to scroll to next item

bah, been trying to find Beautiful Widgets all day in market.

I see it was up then taken off , etc , etc. supposedly it was back as of the 18th, but i cant find it.

my wife has the eris and I REALLY want the weather time app on my droid
i guess i could do weather widget donate, but reviews say the clock doesnt update. kinda important

Version 2.53 of Beautiful Widgets is still showing on the market for me...it's available right now, just checked.
 
I have tried finding the Beautiful Widgets app in the market several times over the last few days and have not found it. I even did a search for the dev's name. Hopefully it will be back soon.

Weird...it's still showing up for me in Downloads - version 2.5.3 available update.

It may be that it will only show for those who have the original one installed...I've not updated to the revised look.

There are multiple comments posted dated 12/24, so it is showing up for some people...not sure why you guys can't see it, unless the update is only showing for those who had the original.
 
Could be, its listed in my downloads as well but if you search the market it won't come up.

Any word on how long HTC is going to drag this out. I can't see why they are bothering him after his re-design.
