Help FC's with Facebook

Can't seem to get facebook to work. Installed it works the first time I use it and then when I reboot it no longer works, keeps FC'ing me, any ideas?

Nevermind, found something on the CM7 tweaks thread, trying it now.

Not sure what you found, but I read somewhere that the FC is due to the lack of GPS. I installed Fake GPS from the market, set location after boot, and then haven't had a facebook FC since.

That's exactly what I found, but it doesn't matter now, I am stuck in a boot loop right now.

Worm: downloaded this app:

then just set the location to somewhere in the US and leave it running (you will notice it in the status bar). Worked like a charm, if I clear the program the issue with facebook comes right back.

I don't really care about the app, but I want to be able to use the full site. Any luck there guys?

Thanks, but I think I'll just use m.facebook.com for time being. I hate random icons in status bar and the reviews say there's no way to disable this app's icon. Hopefully the next app update will fix that

And here I thought I was the only weirdo who felt this way. But I tolerate the ugly Fake GPS icon whenever I want to use the Facebook app. Which is about once a week.

I hate it as well. Wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't so ugly and obtrusive. I just put up with it since most of my friends practically live on Facebook.
