Feeling naked

Just another point re my post about ATM's and NeoGrandizer's reply. I grew up in the 1970's and I often see "young" people say "oh I wish I could live in the 1970's, you had such great music then".
OK so say you are 19 and disappear through a wormhole emerging in 1977.There is no Internet, no PC's, no CD's or DVD's and no mobile phones. You buy your music on vinyl or cassette and the Sony Walkman hasn't been made yet. If you are in the UK there are 3 TV channels and ATM's are very rare.
How long could you last?

All all need is a good book, pencil, paper and an active imagination. I think I'm pretty good. ;)

But I agree that those who are heavily into current tech will probably not last long and probably go through withdrawal. The 'addicts' you might say. I don't have TV/cable, log into Facebook once in a few months because of the reminders, and I don't have any other social media accounts. I do ocassionally go into a bank just to interact with a teller and have a chat.

I'm not that wired. I remember that blackout that lasted 3 days. I actually enjoyed it, especially the nights. Go out and actually see the stars. STARS! I loved every minute I was out there just staring into the empty space. :D

And yet I hate going camping. :p

Oh darn, I'm not a Note 2 junkie. :bawling:

Left my phone alone on my bed for a day without touching it. Though, I must admit, the battery life surprised me a bit. I thought it would have been more lower than that.

My battery has taken a nose dive lately, but oh well. I think it's because of the sunny days and heat we've had lately.

Funny! But seriously, it is probably a good idea for females out driving alone to go back & get their phones. We never know when we might need to call 911 or possibly photo/video something important. ^_^
